South Dakota Voices for Children
About Us: Youth Advisory Council

The 16-member Youth Advisory Council assists South Dakota Voices for Children in shaping policies and programs to ensure the well-being of all children in South Dakota by providing information reflecting youth's experience, assisting in developing a policy agenda, and assisting in advocacy on behalf of children and youth. Members, who are chosen through an application process, may serve from the year of their appointment through the senior year in high school.
