While Voices' 9 gains were outpaced 11 losses during the 2010 legislative session, many of the gains, including an override of the governor’s veto of a need-based scholarship program, will significantly benefit South Dakota children. Issues on which Voices took a stand were related to education, health, juvenile justice, child protection, and safety.
